Excellent the two removers were on time and careful with my belongings and made the move easier. A couple of heavy pieces of furniture were moved without complaint. Nothing damaged from start to finish.

My first port of contact was with Lee the surveyor. I'm a 71 year old with absolutely no proper knowledge of video calls, face timing or anything technological etc. He was very patient with me. Which I appreciated very much. It can be frustrating when dealing with someone like me, but he was so understanding. The 2 removal men Shane and Dan, were amazing. Both friendly and hard working. Especially when it came to unloading my possessions. Up a flight of stairs to my first floor flat. I have many many plants, they carried each and every one. It must have been a nightmare for them. But they kept on smiling and got on with the job. Excellent service from this company and I would definitely recommend.

The guys did a brilliant job making a stressful few days with a 250+ miles move less so! We didn't feel at all rushed and nothing was too much to ask.

On the day the chaps were fab, arrived on time and got the job done within the time restraints. Delivery of our furniture the following day to our new property was faultless. We had a huge move, from a 5 bedroom house in London we’d lived in for 30 years, to a barn conversion down a long track in Cornwall. From first contact Britania Lanes of Cornwall were friendly (so important), professional and helpful. An extremely competitive quote which included decanting into a small van from the articulated lorry to get down the lane. 5 journeys. No damage or breakages. They just got in with it in a very Cornish can do way.

Britannia Lanes has provided a truly exceptional and exemplary removals and storage service. From packing, through to storage for 7 months and finally to the outload to our new home, we had exemplary service from the office staff as well as the packing and removals teams. Nothing was too much trouble. The packing and removals teams took great care in everything they handled and pictures and precious items were export packed. It is to the teams entire credit that not one item was damaged or broken - quite remarkable. My wife and I have moved extensivley as part of our careers - both overseas and within countries and Britannia Lanes has to be the best company we have ever used. We would recommend them without hestitation.

We had a hard working cheerful team for our removal day, Tony, Shane and Ryan. They were fast and efficient despite miserable weather and a challenging layout at the new place. They made the experience as stress free as possible!

From the start everything was explained, the surveyor was pleasant and explained everything. On the day of the move the movers were prompt and efficient, nothing was too big or too small, explained if an item was at risk (a long mirror was thin and they were worried if it would make the journey intact - it did). As the move was over 350 miles it took 2 days and they kept me informed of the time they would arrive. Both loading and unloading was done quickly but with care. They even showed me how my sofa backs came off. Would definitely recommend to anyone, to use Britannia Lanes.

Positive support from the office team when we were looking to arrange a moving date. We had to do a two day move and when the guys arrived to load they were extremely professional, polite, flexible and happy to help with whatever we needed. When unloading the next day they were again the same and when unpacked nothing was damaged or broken. Super professional company.

They were professional and careful with all items. Came on Thursday to pack up the house and Friday morning to pack the last remaining bits and load the truck. On Monday they arrived at the new house as advised and were again very careful with bringing everything back in. The chaps were polite and lovely to deal with. Highly recommend.

I was worried about my long case clock and expressed my concern, but I was assured that great care would be taken of my long case clock and that it presented no problems for them. However the clock mechanism has been damaged and there are several places where the wood has been scratched or small pieces broken off. Very few of my French polished pieces of furniture have survived without scratches or chips

As I have already said. Could not have been better. From Mr Lee Hawky who helped me also with the invoice as I could only do it on paper.to who ever I talked on the telephone and all the men who did the removel. The removel men helped so much as I was shatted by the time they came.They were teriffic. Top men.

We moved from Wadebridge to Malmesbury over 3 days. The team arrived early on the first day and efficiently loaded the majority of our move. The next morning the 2 people assigned arrived early finished loading and then travelled to Malmesbury. On arrival they offloaded sufficient so that we were comfortable for the night. The next morning they arrived finished offloading. They checked with us that we were happy with where everything was placed. In addition asked if we wanted anything moving. Throughout they were incredibly helpful, calm and friendly. Great service, great team.

Brittania Lanes of Truro are fantastic, I can't thank them enough as on my own making a house move & from the survey where Lee came & made notes of everything to be packed to the packing day, the day before moving the chaps came & were so polite & friendly & packed everything so professionally. Then Jack said he would be on the team for my next day loading up & moving & said it he will be a familiar face, so kind also I booked taking apart my wardrobe & beds & to be re - built at my new home. On the moving day all was loaded before midday but there was a hold up with the owners of my new property getting their keys so the Brittania boys said they will drive their vehicles to the town where I am moving to & park up & wait for the go ahead for us to get my gear in. We had to wait about 4 hours then we all met up at my house to move everything in. They came in first to check where all my belongings were going ( in which rooms & where) & so quick & efficient. Even my indoor plants were boxed carefully & all boxes labelled with items in them so easy to find my plants & take out first. I would highly recommend this company to move house & they were recommended to me by a friend who had previously used them many years ago " amazing" & their pricing is very fair for the amount of hard work & care they take with belongings. Not one thing was broken & no damage to walls with shifting furniture in either house many many thanks

Very professional team took excellent care with our recent move within Plymouth. Have used Lanes of Cornwall previously 20 odd years ago (from Cambs to Devon) and would use again. Would without doubt recommend to family and friends

The overall experience of employing your company was a good one with excellent and well trained office staff and so far as the removal was concerned very professional and again very experienced. Lourdes had to be imaginatively moved from the property. Sufficient staff were provided to ensure that we had a hasslefree experience. I would certainly recommend the company to anybody.

Haden and Phil turned up at the stated time and expected another porter to be there to help load. Regrettably he had been cancelled so this meant the house emptying was down to them. I was ill after coming out of hospital so my wife helped with the loading. It was a long day and not once did they complain about loading the vehicle. By 4.30 pm the house was empty and two very tired men set off to get as far south as they could, which was Carlisle, Southwaite services. After my wife cleaned all the rooms we set off South and hit driving snow and bad road conditions at Beatock Summit. We arrived at Burton Moto Services M6 at 11pm, very tired, It had taken us 6.5 hours due to weather. On Friday we arrived at our new address in St Austell to find Phil and Haddon had arrived and had started unloading with a shunt van. There were two other lads there from Britannia who Matt had sent to help. The lads couldn.t do enough aand soon it was finished. This is the 4th time i have moved up to Scotland and back using Brittania Lanes. So would i move up to Scotland again, er NO, but would i use them again in 6 months to move to a newly bought house in Truro . Definitely YES. So if your thinking of removal companies go for Britannia Lanes 0f Truro. They are the number one . Oh breakages you ask .... one plant plant. but I think that was the wife!!!

We’ve used Britannia lanes twice now, both times the service was excellent, both from the organisation and actual removal men. They’re always punctual, careful and friendly, nothing is to much trouble for them. We would recommend them to anyone moving down to Cornwall from Hampshire etc like ourselves, or within the county.
